Our Time-Proven Process
We’ve had over 70 years to perfect our crate construction and shipping process. We can boast an incredible success rate that means your goods arrive on time and intact.
Here’s how our crate design process works:
- Consultation. Our consultant meets with you to determine your crating needs. We discuss what type of object(s) you’re shipping, and where.
- Planning. Our experienced crating staff creates a plan to ensure your goods arrive safely, selecting the right materials and designing your crate from scratch. For example, some items may need to be strapped in place within the crate so they don’t shift. For the interior, we choose between padding options that include soft foam, denser foam, loose styrofoam peanuts, and bubble wrap.
- Custom diagram. We create a custom specification diagram in an architectural program that details all dimensions and the exact packing materials we’ll use.
- Final approval. You review the quote and the diagram and ask any final questions you may have.
Once you approve the final quote, our specialists get to work building the perfect crate for your fragile item. Our shipping department then takes over the logistics.
