Dave Dubue

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Dave Dubue has over 33 years of experience in the moving, transportation and distribution industry. Over the years he has gained extensive knowledge in National, US Cross Border and International relocations and shipping.

Dave started his career with Boyd in the 80’s as a mover and later became a driver. He left Boyd to become an Owner / operator with United van lines a few years later, running throughout North America. From there he became a branch Manager for a large Moving company and later moved on to run an international logistics terminal for an international company.

Dave Dubue returned to Boyd in the Fall of 2014 as Sales Manager and is responsible for sales growth in all Boyd business units. Due to his expansive knowledge in all facets of the business, Dave naturally moved into the role of Vice President, Sales & Marketing in 2019, continuing to focus on business growth.

Kenneth Roberts

Vice President, Operations

Ken oversees residential moves and both residential and commercial warehousing. He makes sure these departments are doing things right and that our customers are happy. He also provides ongoing training for the team, and works with our executive group to develop new policies and procedures (for example, when situations like COVID-19 come up).

As of 2020, Ken has been in the moving and warehousing business for 36 years. He started with a moving company in Montréal in 1984 loading trucks, and worked his way up from there. His past managerial and business ownership experience in a variety of fields give him a well rounded perspective.

“My thrill out of this job is in making the impossible possible,” says Ken. “Sometimes I see how busy we are and I wonder how the hell we’re going to get it all done, but 6 PM comes and it’s all done and everyone’s happy.”

There’s no doubt that Ken likes a challenge and thrives on problem solving just as much as he likes streamlining things and making them run efficiently. But once his work day is done, Ken loves to spend time with his wife and daughters. “Doing things with my family is all I need!”
